Welcome to the November issue of 2nd Tuesday.
I'm honored that you have joined me today as 2nd Tuesday explores the many ways we can - in the face of time and the challenges of life - always reimagine and enrich our lives. The last deltas of geese overhead have sounded the opening of the doors to the holidays, one of the riches and potentially most challenging seasons of the year.This month's articles include some thoughts about the importance of letting go of feeling that you have to be grateful all of the time, a piece on the gifts we can find by getting out of bed before everyone else, some musing about the mind and how it can be impacted by a writing exercise, a pictorial article about the sacred objects in our lives, a note I wrote in a journal in 1961 about Thanksgiving and bomb shelters, and a film that encourages the practice of enthusiasm over worrying about aging.
